My Story

Hello, young readers (and their grown-ups)!

My name is Corey, and I’m so happy you’ve discovered my books. You might be wondering, what inspired me to write stories for kids like you? I discovered a passion for picture books after reading hundreds of them to my own two children.  Watching my kiddos lose themselves in the magic of books sparked a desire in me to create stories that would ignite imaginations and bring joy to young hearts.

My Favorite Things

I have a few favorite things.  I love:

• spending time with my family
• watching movies
• playing with our dog
• baking my famous banana bread
• when the leaves change color in fall
• exploring new places, especially the enchanting world of Disney

A Few Fun Facts

I worked in healthcare for more than a decade, helping people feel better when they are going through tough times. Now, I do the same through my stories, helping children navigate the ups and downs of life. I believe in embracing our imperfections – after all, that’s what makes each of us unique and special!
